Markers show approximate mapped centers, not necessarily entrances. Trail lines are simplified source geometry.

A BIG REGION. AN HONEST FIELD GUIDE.

Explore widely. Check locally.

This is a broad, sourced directory—not a claim that every place has been mapped or that every mapped site is open to the public. Missing or unnamed places, private facilities, seasonal access, and changing operators create gaps. Use the linked operator or agency to confirm hours, fees, reservations, access, and current conditions.

10-county footprint

Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Jefferson, and Weld. County filters use mapped locations rather than mailing addresses. Cross-county destinations may appear under their mapped center.

Trails, water & access

A lake marker does not establish boating, swimming, fishing, or public shoreline access. Trail groups combine mapped segments by name, manager, and county; they are not necessarily one continuous route. Check COTREX and land managers before heading out.

Culture & the next show

Venue listings describe places, not a live event calendar. Use operator links for tickets and schedules. Public recreation centers, private golf clubs, and facilities with unknown access are distinguished where the source provides that information.
